The first ever item I'm featuring here is my StarFox pin! The pin is quite small and very sturdy. The way to originally obtain this item was to compete in the "Super Starfox Weekend" contest held in 1993 at various video game retail outlets. This was a contest centered around the then cutting edge game, StarFox for the Super Nintendo. There were other prizes for getting to a certain stage in the contest but this one was just given for competing in the first place. Because of this, it was a relatively easy item for one to get their hands on at that time.
I obtained this one from a friend of my dad who actually competed in this contest and got this pin. I ended up paying 5 bucks for mine which is an exceptional deal. If you want to grab your own, they actually are not too expensive. On eBay, you can get one for around 20 bucks give or take a couple dollars so if this is something you think you'd like to own, its not super difficult to get your hands on it.
